Dr. Semoin earned her MD degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed her surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She is board-certified in General Surgery and an accredited fellow of the American College of Surgeons. To complement her medical expertise, Dr. Semoin holds a Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, specializing in healthcare management. Her unique qualifications blend medical excellence with strategic healthcare management skills, allowing her to navigate both clinical and administrative roles effectively.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Dr. Semoin served with distinction for 11 years, rising to the rank of Major while fulfilling the roles of both a Military Officer and Surgeon. Her military background instilled a dedication to service and leadership that she brings to her civilian practice.

Dr. Semoin has an impressive professional history, having previously served as Director of Robotic Surgery at Jackson North Medical Center and currently acting as the Medical Director of Surgical Services at Kindred Hospital Hollywood. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, she is an associate faculty member and mentor to medical students at Ross University, St. George’s University (SGU), and the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (AUC).
